What is bleed?

Bleeds are required in all artwork with an image that extends the trim edge of the product. Add a quarter inch (0.125") to each side to allow for cutting. For example, for a 3.5" x 2" Business card with full bleed, the image size should be submitted at 3.75" x 2.25"

0.125" (1/8") on each edge of the card will be trimmed off during the cutting process. This will leave you a 3.5" x 2" standard Business cards.

Your type (text) should be 0.125" (1/8") inside the cut box on each side. This will guarantee your text to not be cut off form your artwork.

What type of files do you accept?

Gold Image printing requires the following formats:

AI - Illustrator
EPS - Encapsulated postscript image file created using Adobe Illustrator
Tiff - Tag Image File Format
PSD - Photoshop
JPEG - Joint Photographic Experts Group
PDF - Portable Document File from Adobe Acrobat
Qxd - QuarkXpress Document or Data File
Indd - InDesign Document from Adobe Systems

What is Image Resolution?

Your type (text) should be 0.125" (1/8") inside the cut box on each side. This will guarantee your text to not be cut.

What Image Resolution do you require?

For printed images, the resolution is 300 dpi. If your file or document is 72 dpi which made for the web, you can not simply increase the resolution to a higher DPI. The final result of the image will still be blurry. The best way to avoid this problem, your document size has to be 300 DPI for perfect final print results.

What color mode do you require?

All color mode must be in CMYK. If files are submitted in RGB, there will be a color shift or colors dropping out, however Gold Image Printing will always try its best to check your file and fix them accordingly.

Can I write on UV coating?

No, you can not write on UV coating.

Why do I have to convert my text to outlines?

Once text is converted to outline, there is no longer the need to supply fonts. The typefaces will look exactly as it was designed and it ensures of no font substitution took place while printing your file.

What if I am not satisfied with the final product?

Gold Image Printing proudly guarantees all of its work. We will not stop till you are 100% satisfied.

Does this mean if I have a misspelling error or the phone number is wrong, you'll still reprint for free?

Unfortunately, we guarantee our work and quality of the final product. We will however work with you in the best way possible to reprint your work with the correct information at possibly a reduced price. We understand errors happen and mistakes happen.

What kind of paper stock do you carry?

We have access to multiple paper mill through out the world. We do not print only on selected stocks. We are capable of printing on any kind of paper stock whether you supply us or we order it for you.

Do you print on T-shirts, mugs, pens and etc…?

No we do not print on promotional items.

Do you offer mailing for our printed materials?

Yes, Gold Image Printing can handle all your mailing materials from the beginning to end. We can imprint the addresses right on brochures or postcards. We can fold, stuff and seal in the envelope and mail.

Here are important USPS Guidelines for your convenience:
For custom size postcards for mailing, here are a few file setup guidelines:

Indicia - Leave 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" white space on the upper right hand corner for the postal Indicia
Address Area - It is safe to leave a 2" high x 4" wide white space for printing the recipient's address and the barcode
Size - Minimum size 4.25 x 5.5", Maximum size 6 x 11"
When selecting a custom size postcard for mailing, make sure the aspect ratio is between 1.3 – 2.5. (The aspect ratio of an image is its width divided by its height.)

How can I submit my print files?

You can either send via email (maximum: 10MB) or upload your file through our FTP.

How can I place an order?

There are several ways of sending orders to Gold Image Printing.

You can call in your order with your company name and info or fax in the order with company name and information. Also you can definitely send orders via email info@goldimageprinting.com. Or on the actual page which you are visiting you can click on the Place an order, and it will send us a notice of your order.

You will receive an invoice via email shortly, with your order that was placed.

Do you only print 4 color press?

No, we are capable of variety of options for printing. Such as 1-4 color SPOT PANTONE color. We are capable of letterpress, foil stamp all under one roof.

Can you print metallic inks?

Yes, we can print pantone metallic inks.

What is production time or turnaround on my job?

Production times may vary. Due to such wide array of capabilities at Gold Image Printing, it is hard to distinguish how long does a job usually takes.

Here are some timelines for your information:

Standard Business cards:	2-4 business days (Same day or 24hrs turnaround available)
Custom Business cards:	5-7 Business days
Standard postcards:	2-4 business days (Same day or 24hrs turnaround available)
Custom postcards:	5-7 Business days
Foil stamping, embossing, Die cutting:	4-6 Business days
Brochure, catalogs:	2-7 Business days (Same day or 24hrs turnaround available)

We are more than capable and willing to work with your deadlines as we can run 3 24hrs/7days to get your job out for your convenience.

How do you ship orders?

Gold Image Printing ships through UPS. We also have our own delivery services for local delivery. We can also ship using your Account for your convenience. We will also drop ship to where ever you may choose, to help you with the shipping.

Do you accept checks?

Yes, we only accept Company check. We do not accept personal checks.

When does my turnaround time begin?

Turnaround time begins once you have approved the final hard copy proof or a PDF proof. However if we are unable to print your files because they do not confirm to Gold image's file requirements, your job status will be put "On Hold" and your turnaround time will be reset.
